Main Line Models & Talent's discovery Jerome will be reprising his Broadway role as Young Simba in the Lion King North American National Tour. The tour will come to the Academy of Music at the Kimmel Center from March 23 through April 24, 2010.

Jerome is pictured with fellow cast members Maya Rudolf and Jon Krasinski, and director Sam Mendes from the feature film Away We Go now on DVD.

Brian won Pre-Teen Model and Actor of the Year. He also received an 8-week scholarship to train with a prestigious agency. Demar won a $10,000 scholarship to an Acting Academy in New York. Victoria snatched up Female Junior Actress of the Year. Mattison took the title of Singer of the Year and Rohan won Child Actor of the Year.

Main Line Stars Have Huge Success at IMTA Convention

Main Line Models and Talent-Media recently took their aspiring actors, models and singers to the IMTA Convention in Los Angeles, California. The talent spent a week performing and modeling for some of the biggest name agencies and managers in the world. Main Line cleaned up in the awards department, taking home 24 honorable mentions, 3rd runner up in the team fashion competition and 1st runner up in the team singing competition. Many individuals from Main Line Media also took home several awards.

Dana won Actress of the Year, taking home $1000.00 in cash prizes. She also received a scholarship to a prestigious acting conservatory in New York. Dana also made it to the Talent Showcase, winning Female Singer of the Year as well.

Alexis placed 2nd Runner-up for Junior Miss Model of the Year. She won 1st place in the Runway competition and was 1st Runner-up in the Fashion Print competition.

Craig came in 2nd place for his Cold Read.

Talbert won 1st place for his Sitcom.

Danny took home 1st runner up in Male Model of the Year, Most Sought After Male Model of the Year, Fashion Print, Runway and TV Beauty. He also took home $600 in cash prizes. He also placed in his jeans and swimwear competitions.

Shango won 1st place for his monologue. He also came 1st runner up for his TV Real and Close-up competitions.

Yemaya took home 4th runner up for her TV Real commercial.

Steven placed 4th runner up for Male Fitness Model of the Year and also won several awards within his division.

Paris is singing a 1 year contract with an agent from Atlanta and Los Angeles.

Caprice is soon to be relocating to Los Angeles and is signing with an agent for film and commercial work.

Olivia received a callback for a tv casting.

Khepera has several agents in New York and Los Angeles that are interested in singing her. She also received several awards for her singing, sitcom and theatrical headshots.

Congratulations to all of our wonderful models and talent for their success at the IMTA Convention. We wish them the best of luck in following their dreams!

A Wish Can Come True!

For Josh , a resident of rural Upstate New York, his dream of becoming a model was far-fetched, even to those closest to him. Then, he contacted the Make-A-Wish Foundation and they granted him his wish. Josh suffers from a rare, and often fatal liver disease called Wilson’s: a genetic mutation that causes the liver to not process copper correctly. Expensive medicine is required daily, and a strict diet must be followed. Despite being seriously ill, Josh exercises regularly, and works on his appearance, in hopes of becoming a famous model one day.

Josh’s wish was to attend the International Model and Talent Association Convention in Los Angeles in January 2008. Josh had learned that IMTA, a convention which hundreds of modeling agents and managers attend, is the place where many big names get their start. Make-A-Wish contacted Laraine Colden, the director of Main Line Models & Talent in Media, PA and asked if Josh could attend as part of her group of actors and models who were going. After hearing Josh’s story, Laraine immediately agreed, and began helping Josh get ready for the convention. First, he needed professional photos. She called a few contacts was able to get a photo shoot in Manhattan donated for Josh. Next, he needed coaching. Laraine was on the phone constantly with Josh and his family offering advice as he started his journey.

At IMTA Josh did extremely well--winning awards and garnering the attention of several agents and managers. He signed with a major manager in New York City, and lived there this summer as he began working as a professional model. While his health is still a major concern, Josh says, “My wish came true and I’m going to see it as far as it will go!”

Jerome Stephens in The Lion King!

Jerome attended the 2008 Los Angeles IMTA Convention with Main Line Models and Talent. Jerome won numerous awards and was signed immediately. His most recent accomplishment is landing the leading role of Simba on Broadway's production of The Lion King. Jerome, at just eight years old, is the youngest ever to play this role. He made his debut on August 26, 2008! Be sure to get your tickets now!

Jerome also just wrapped up his role in the new Sam Mendes' film, This Must Be The Place. Jerome worked along side such actors and actresses as Maggie Gyllenhaal, John Krasinski, Jeff Daniels and Allison Janney. The movie focuses on a couple moving around the United States looking for the perfect place to start a family. Keep an eye for Jerome who plays the couple's adopted son!

IMTA in New York this past July was a huge success. Laraine Colden took 23 actors and models with her to the Big Apple and boy, did they clean up! The Main Line Models, Singers and Actors took home 25 awards, 74 honorable mentions, and hundreds of callbacks. Terrell won his signing division and dance division, Everest won Jeans Competition and Close-Up, Heather won TV Beauty Commercial, Aspen got 1^st runner up for commercial print and is signing with a major agency in New York, Christiana won first runner up for TV host and 4^th runner up for Runway, Alexis won 2^nd runner up for TV sitcom, and runner up for Young Miss Actress of the Year. Vicki got 4^th runner up for Cold Read and has several call backs from both New York and LA. Peter got 2^nd runner up for TV Host and he won TV Beauty. He was also declared runner up for Male Fitness of the Year and Male Young Adult Actor of the Year. Victoria received 3^rd Place for Cold Read and Singing.Emily was offered a contract from a management office in LA and Gabby is busy sending off photos to NYC, and will be traveling for auditions. Tamara has received an offer to audition for an MTV pilot and is planning on more work in NYC soon. Tamara received a callback from BET—they have an interest in working with her. Sandra was runner up for Model of the Year, Brittany has several contract offers, and pending overseas work. Elsie was just offered a contract with LA Models!! Avery is looking forward to working in NYC in the next year. Rhonda is off to a great start! She has been very busy working with fashion designers and looking forward to working in NYC. Sydney has received offers from NYC and LA-- good job Sydney! (Not bad for only 13 years old!) Sara turned heads on the runway in New York and is expanding her career. “I had the week of my life!” said Kate, a model. She is looking forward to pursuing her career. Tanaya did a fantastic monologue and garnered lots of attention for her performance. Olivia at four years old, was the youngest IMTA contestant who went with Laraine this year. She was fearless! Great job Olivia. She was offered a contract in Atlanta and Orlando for catalog work. Eric was 4^th runner up for male actor of the year, runner up for Male Junior Model of the Year, and won 3^rd place for Most Sought After Male Talent. Laraine is currently working feverishly with her talent and helping them with agent and manager follow-ups and contract reviews. IMTA in Los Angeles is coming up in the winter, so grab your swimsuits!
